hey, i had a ponderment of what the different chambers and tunnels are that ants dig are called, I read about "the main chamber" etc, i've checked the FAQ but no luck there.

Hi, today I found a tree damaged by carpenter ants that is about to fall. The carpneters dug thourgh the trunk and it is starting to crack and it is already half way through. It is going to fall on power lines. It goes to show you a little bug can cause big problems.

I need to understand old papers of foreign languages, e.g. German, French, Italian, Russian, etc. These paper were written by Forel, Emery, Karavaiev, Mayr, Santschi. They studied Indo-Australian ants which I'm studying now. There are also more recent papers written in those language, e.g. Baroni Urbani (Calyptomyrmex), Fromantin & Souli (Crematogaster). The papers were mostly from antbase.org.

My top three favorite ants are:

1. Pheidole (They are cool with their large heads and easy to take care of. I can never get a queen so.)
2. Leafcutter ants (never seen them in person, but sound very interesting. Hope to see them one day)
3. Fire ants (only ant that hasn't died on me in captivity after 2-3 months)
