But there is also mention of pronymphs but nowhere some discrete info on what they actually are.<br><br>As far as I understand this: a pronymph is a sort of transitional phase between a larva and a pupa? 			<description><![CDATA[ Hi all,<br><br>Recently I had to dissect two queens of Myrmecia pavida in order to figure out whether they were mated. They were not. But when dissecting them I think I have seen some remarkable features in their digestive tracts.<br>Searching for literature on internal anatomy of Myrmecia only revealed some descriptions of the proventriculus (the valve between crop and midgut).<br>Does somebody know of any descriptions of the entire digestive tract of a Myrmecia species?<br>- Its a pity that... ]]></description>
