I had a fertile queen also and a bunch of workers and a few majors.<br><br>Today I just looked and I see remains of a wing left, it wasn't a fly wing, it was to large...I've only put in small flies and none have flown in, I would have seen it when I put the lid on.<br><br>It looks just like a wing from a queen. 			<title><![CDATA[ Just got my Uncle Milton Ants today! ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ So I put them into my fridge for about 15-25 mins. They all looked active but after the cooling they were all stiffed up. Normal, I guess. But they all came out, rather unexpectedly, in a huge clump and down fast. Now almost all of them are in a huge pile. I have a few questions:<br><br>How long should it take for them all to wake up?<br><br>I put some water in, but should I give them a little UM food too?<br><br>And what temp/light should they be in?<br><br><br>Thanks for any help guys! ]]></description>

I am currently trying to turn a large table into a foraging arena for my pogos and the typical things like oil, cinnamon, and vaseline are completely useless. When I tested it (applied in seperate but consecutive lines of course) the pogos crossed them with no problem at all. I have heard that chalk will work for this, but I have not tested it. 			<description><![CDATA[ I have 2 Lasius niger colonies, and I have noticed that one or two ants try to get through the cotton that I use to block the exit of the test tubes I have put them in. Just before one even managed to get out. However, I do not want to put them into the aquarium and nest that I built for them since winter hibernation is near. Should I keep them in? Or give them a possibility to move around? ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I was going to drill a hole in my ant farm, but...the ant farm is too tall but at same time its way to small. I have my 10 gallon tank ready to move my fire ants.<br><br>Like I said, I cant put my ant farm they are in now in it since its too tall.<br><br>So now how do I move them? I have no way to drill the glass, so the only way I can think of is emptying them out...but I don't want to do that.<br><br>Any ideas? ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have fire ants in a small container with an air tight lid and they can't escape. Only problem is, its too small for them.<br><br>I bought a 10 gallon tank (Silicon (sorry if thats spelled wrong) glue on the corners, so I can't put any slippery substances on it because it won't work.) I'll post the link later, if anyone needs it.  I have them in the standard test tube setup with tin foil wrapped around them for darkness.  But the trouble is, if I want to see them, I have to pick the test tube up and slide the tin foil down so I can seethem.  I think this might be stressing them.  So what should I do?
