didn't know you had tried it yet does it hydrate good? What kind of
tools are you using to carve is it done by hand easy enough?

I have a,Camponotus Pennsylvanicus queen and nantics that I am going to have to move out of their test tube setup soon. ,I was planing on buying a half inch thick sheet of fine ground compressed cork and sandwiching that between two pains of glass. ,Then I would let them construct their nest in the cork and connect the nest to a fish tank outworld. ,Does anyone know if this is a good setup idea? ,If not, what substrate can I use with my,new,Camponotus pennsylvanicus colony so they can construct their own tunnels and chambers.
