I caught this ant around May 24th while catching my Camponotus queens. She was very sluggish and just seemed to drag herself across the sidewalk. I wasn't even fully convince she was a queen. It took her till now to lay her first 2 eggs.
I caught her in Milton Ontario: Canada.
I cannot seem to get a great picture of her, but she is about the size of a Lasius queen. Her gaster is a lot thinner.
I do not quite think its a tetramorium ant, but I just cannot be certain. The only reason I do not think it was a Tetramorium is because, whenever there was a Tetramorium flight, I would easily catch 10 - 20 of them. This time I only seen this one.
If better pictures are required, please let me know, but so far, this is the best I got.
