Hello, I'd intended to hold off posting until I had something to show, but I've been lurking for a few months. I'm looking at getting into ant keeping. I've always wanted to have an ant farm, but previous living arrangements wouldn't allow it. I've ordered a pair of Tar Heel Ant's Talus formicaria. Of course, now that my order's shipped, I'm eyeing up his spring specials. Sadly, there's still three or four feet of snow on the ground here in the UP of Michigan. I'm already watching the sidewalk for signs of life. I'm really hoping to get a Tetramorium caespitum colony established. I keep a few smaller toads, primarily fed fruit flies, but I want to eventually offer some variation in their diet. I'd also like to find some of my local Camponatus species. I've been raising colonies of dubia roaches, mealworms, and wax moths for a few years, as well as keeping various insects I've caught. I'm looking forward to being a member of the community, and I hope to have some pictures to share soon.
