The funny thing is, his feet got swarmed too! Hehehe... Well, he's not amused at all as he ordered one of our maids to buy insect spray. Panicking, I took a look at the ants and found out that they are nesting on the damp wooden step (I think it's the second step) and winged queens were swarming out along with their workers. These red ants are fairly easy to catch but the workers are a problem. I quickly hand picked the queens as I am afraid to get bitten and stung by the workers. I managed to catch 15.
Now I realized that I am actually being foolish because the queens are infertile. I am just wondering, since a colony was already supplying winged reproductives, if there are any species of red ants that are starting the flight at this month. I am planning to let the queens go in a few days... Or maybe I'll just observe them and see if something happens...
