In the computer room today at school there were male alates and females EVERYWHERE! Too bad I didn't bring A test tube. Although I was able to take 1 male and put him in an empty lead holder. It was indeed a Tetramorium caespitum male. My REAL question is that I have a Tetramorium caespitum colony under my stove (A huge one), So if the colony in the computer room had a nuptial flight, why didn't the Tetramorium caespitum colony under my stove have one too? Also it was 60F with a thunderstorm while it was happening.
