I was watching an episode of Seinfeld that had Uncle Milton (UM) Giant Ant Farm in the background, behind Kramer (The Pool Guy", Episode 118, Season 7). The episode was about Kramer doing the movie box office talking on the telephone. I never noticed that Ant Farm since I have seen this episode before. I didn't see any ants and tunnels though (even on a 50" TV). Callow Ant Posts: 23 07/31/2001 3:09 PM	Nice idea, i think i got a great one, Im sure youve all heard of Big brother, well not a few weeks ago, when it was still going here in the UK, the housemates were all outside on the patio, and guess what, A nuptual flight happens, and Big Brother decides to show it on the half hour update at 10pm. It was so weird, an enoying, up in London, where the show is hosted, it was all happening, and down here in Rainy Plymouth, nothing but moths and catapillars. Anyway then when it was happening, one of the Housemates explained to the others how the nuptual flight takes place, and what weather conditions were required for it to happen, i think he knew a bit about Ants. Anway thats my story, anyone else?

Posts: 63 07/31/2001 6:36 PM	Yeah I have 2 Well one is there was this one car insurance commercial and the dude said " would you rather pay this car insurance bill r shove these fire ants down your pants" they showed the ants too, at the end the guy was jumping around in pain. Second one is this t.v. show or movie i stubled upon because i saw ants, i think the show was called "Sheena" or something like that. It was like about these people stuck in house with poisonous ants that can kill you. I think they were actually carpenter ants. LOL Well thats my story

It was like America's Funniest Home Videos on ABC station. There was a video clip of a black carpenter ant(?) on a record player. While the player was playing the record, the ant was furiously trying to escape. She kept running in circles and ending up back in the center. It was hilarious! I think I saw this like two years ago. In the show "Nigles Wild Wild World" that showed invertibrates libing on land and the ones that were super organisms it showed a swarm of Army ants. THE GUY STOOD RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF ONE!!!!! And they were biteing his "pants" (undergramets). Lol it was really funny. The TV host guys on shows like that are never experts on the subject there just guys from Hollywood. One of the questions was about Uncle Milton's toys -- Ant Farm. I think the question went like this: "In 1956, Uncle Milton's introduced this popular toy." ... I don't remember the exact wording. Posts: 359 09/24/2001 10:13 PM	some days ago, i saw a documentery talking about how destructive ants were. there was a colony of ants (i think fire ants) living in a traffic light. it was a rather large colony. they showed the queen , brood and even the ants bring food into the traffic light to consume. then they showed a car crash into another beacuse that traffic light was not working. I saw it again. OK, it was a piece from Froot Loops cereal. Oops. It almost looks like a donut when I first saw it years ago. Here is a screen capture.
