Since last
year a new name of ant species appeared in the German ant shops, in forums, and
with Google you find a flood of „information“, under the name as given above,
or as "C. cf. xiangban".
I ask
mainly the myrmecological colleagues here whether they do know anything more on
this “species”. German forum users and keepers of the ant apparently are not
interested in details, and the ant dealers don’t react on my corresponding
postings in the most familiar “Ameisenforum”.
