Would you believe that Uncle Milton sent me MORE ants in the mail when I have not had ANY contact with the company in weeks. I am furious as I had to go out to Petsmart and buy an improptu farm for them and I was just ready to give up on ant farms.
My other farm had done really well for the past 2-3 weeks or so but now they have been dying off. I am not sure if I did something wrong or this is their lifespan.
Well the new ants they sent me, half of them are dead cause it was 90 degrees all day yesterday and they were sitting in the mailbox all day - I had NO idea they were coming.
Will they really fight and kill each other if I combine the two? I feel bad cause each has 6-10 ants and it seems this isn't enough for a thriving colony and I hate watching them die one by one. I believe Uncle Milton supplies Western Harvester ants, and I have done some research but haven't come to a clear conclusion as to whether they woud really kill each other if I combined.
