chazzbo77 I have seen you post several times a method for getting queens used to light so that they can be observed. If you or anyone else could give a detailed description as to how to do that I would appreciate it. My biggest question is: Do you keep a light on ALL the time? Or does the the night/day phases just no longer affect them. Thanks! I currently have eight queens in a test tube set up. One sugar ant queen, two apheonogaster, and five yet to be determined red ant queens. The Apheonogaster are particulary senstive to light, even red light.
