Looks a lot more like a spider to me. In fact, there's a an odd little comb-footed spider (Theridiidae) that builds inconspicuous webs in the furrows of tree bark and is a predator of ants. Its abdomen has the shape of the left side of the nebula in those pictures, and it holds its legs two pairs forward and two pairs backward.
