Hi, I was wondering who you think would win a fight. Ants, termites, wasps, or bees. I would say Ants, termites, bees, and then wasps. What would you think would win? Please give your reasoning.

Ant Catcher11: It depends on the species.

I was saying you could use any species in your reason. Like for wasp you could use giant hornets as the reason for 1st place. Sorry that wasn't clear.

There is a nearly infinite number of possible answers to this, depending on which species are involved, and numerous environmental variables. It also depends what you mean by battle. I won't even touch on the silly (some would say cruel) matter of staged battles, but only on possible natural interactions.
Generally speaking, ants are the most effecting predators at subduing large prey, but while they often prey on termites, wasps and bees are not so commonly on their menu. There are some exceptions -- South American army ants often attack the nests of social wasps, shooing away the adults and eating the brood from the nest as the adult wasps hover angrily but helplessly nearby. |
