I think that the moderation team of this forum does an exceptional job not only in keeping everything moderated (this place seems to get spammed a lot by Asian looking sources, but as always the threads are quickly removed and order is restored), but in that a lot of our moderators are very knowledgeable in Myrmecology to the point of making a career out of it. Although I'm sure they're out there, I've never been to another forum where so many people with that level of knowledge on a particular subject are there and willing to help out beginners learn. I think it's long overdue that we recognize the amount of time that they spend keeping this forum knowledgeable and ordered.

As such, I now use the meaningful and widely recognized authority of my ownership of this "Reacker" account to officially declare this day of Tuesday of the Fourth of August of the year 2009 as "Moderation and Doc. Ant Appreciation Day", with all future Fourth days of August being similarly recognized.

Our moderation team is as follows:

Antdude, our Supreme Ant Overlord.
Dr. Ant, Soldier Ant and Doc. Ant.
Mrmacophyl, Soldier Ant and Doc. Ant.

And a very long time ago we also had Zanti Agent who was a Soldier Ant. He passed away a few years ago before I really got to know him, but posts by him are everywhere in the archives.

To show how universal this appreciation of our moderation is on this forum, I've started a completely unbiased poll of support.
