Henchant Posts: 1319 11/19/2009 7:18 PM	I don't think that the brood would live longer then adult workers, though they would most likely eat them. Interesting that the ants would do that. I think I have read that the workers actually choose the healthiest males to mate with their young queens as well. Can they test to see if the workers' queen was a daughter/sister/mother to the colonies that absorbed their workers?
